I was messing around in my newly GL-acquired M817 when I found a door sticker stating that the truck had been stationed at Camp Doha in Kuwait???? I think it is an Army truck (salvaged off of an Army base) but not sure. It isn't even the right color (it is dark green). Is this a possibility? The truck has new tires and is in fairly decent condition (pic). Would they really use such an old truck?

My first batch of M105 trailers all came back from Kuwait and all were green.

I drove, for about a week, an M35A2 while in Iraq in 2010. It was not uparmored either. I saw another un-armored either M35 series or M800 series (I didn't know the difference at the time) on JBB as well. Neither of these trucks left the wire unless it was on the back of a flatbed as we shipped it to Kuwait for retrograde.
