Bjorn, What did you wind up doing with your carb? I see Army Surplus Warehouse has the carbs for $19.99 on their site.
"Rebuilt" it one more time with cleaned up original parts except for the O-ring on the center pin, so that may be the only question mark, used a best fit O-ring from NAPA.
Engine started and ran fine for some 20 hours last Fall, but didn't want to start and run at all after a temp dip into the teens in December. Checked compression as shown in a separate thread and it isn't good, so that's where I am at the moment.
We have other emergency generators (commercial crap), so we are covered, but I love my Mep018A for the engine, the clean sinewave output and raw power.
