New to the forum but lurked for some time before purchasing my 1165 rev from govplanet. I have read other threads on this issue but I am still having trouble figuring it out? I also read the transmission trouble shooting manual from the gear report. My TCM gave me the code 22 low voltage from TPS and the transmission exhibits the shifting issues that this code produces. I unplugged the harness at the TPS and did not measure 5 volts on the harness. I then went directly to the harness on the TCM using a jumper wire into the back of the harness and measured c4/wire350 and did not get 5 volts there either. Is my TCM bad or is there another issue that could cause this? Thanks in advance.

Measure C4 to ground, if the wire is not shorted to ground and you have no 5V reference at C4 then the TCM is bad.
If you see a ground on C4 unplug the TPS and TCM and measure again, you will of course measure the TPS resistance with it plugged in.

Have you verified the TPS is plugged in at the connectors at the engine to body harness? It’s over by the fuel filter.
Don’t know how I wasn’t showing 5 volts at the TCM last night but it was there today, guess my jumper wasn’t making good contact? Went back to TPS to check for voltage and nothing. Started tracing the harness from the TPS and discovered a connector not hooked up! Exactly the one you are speaking of. That fixed my problem. Thanks for the response.
