I have an M1035A2 with the 6.5 na and 4L80E. The transmission needs replaced, and I was hoping someone could tell me what year range of transmission a compatible replacement would be? I've heard 1995-2006. Can anyone confirm or offer different insight?

If you find a civy unit, the gm diesel trucks quit using db2 inj pump after 93 and moved to db4 in 1994 and up. I believe both still have a TCM. Hope this helps.

Just a thought - it might be cheaper and better to just have a good local tranny shop rebuild your existing unit. Then you do not have to worry if you get an early unit vs a late model unit.

The early units had a different location for the cooling fittings. The later units had fixes that make them better. I don't have the year cuts off of what is an early unit vs a late model unit.
