5 ton steering wheel?

Just found a 18" 5 ton steering wheel at Clark Equipment. I asked to confirm if this wheel would fit a m35. The guy didnt know and had to ask someone else. They said that 5 ton wheels dont fit m35's. I am wondering if its just a couple of guys that dont know any better.
Should I order it anyway or keep looking?
They did have the best price so far.

I have been told that if you really want to make it work it can be done. You will have to change the center section of the wheel from the M35 to the 5 ton wheel. Without a major mod, it will not fit.
