530 Water Tank Removal

Finally got the fire truck 530 down to pulling the water tank last night. Need some help on how to disconnect the pipe where it comes out of the tank, the 4 or 5 inch pipe between the tank and the pump. Couldn't get a pipe wrench on the connection and the pipe has a 45 degree angle where you need to turn the pipe to disconnect. It also appears to cramped to hacksaw down there. Any suggestions would be great, thanks

Can you weld a long piece of strong steel on the 45 degree elbow and get it started turning that? then cut it off and turn with something smaller?

Use a chain and a pipe. Make your own chain wrench.
