Yup.
Metal fabrication and machining is what we do so the welding will hold lol. Not using no harbor freight welder.

I didn't think about a different cross member but that's a project for a different day I got to get this truck running.

Engine is in the hole and bolted to the transmission, the motor mounts ended up lining up perfectly and bolts went in. Have the intake bolted on and the distributor back on. Tomorrow I will do the cap and rotor button, plugs and wires, valve covers, carb, and as much as possible. Hopefully have this thing ready to crank. Hopefully

Today was a productive day, carburetor is on, throttle cable and brackets on, fuel pump on wired and plumbed, vacume lines ran, cap and rotor button plugs and wires is on. New valve covers are on with nice new gaskets, thermostat is on, torque converter bolted to flywheel, starter on and wired, alternator bracket on too.

Other than exhaust pipes this thing is done. Got everything buttoned up and running. I'm glad its done, I'm ready to drive it instead of just working on it all the time

Had the exhaust done today. It runs great, still have to dome minor tweaks and tuning but all in all it runs great.

I used the convertor from the gasser and I just hooked the vacuum line to the back of the intake

Very nice build. I bet that 454 tq with 4.56 gears will jump off the line.
