A header will not work for what I am doing. I need a manifold. Most manifolds are cast. I have not found any Manifold makers. There are lots of header people out there but no one that cast custom manifolds that I know of. Not something that is economical when having one made. when they cast something it is normally because they are making thousands of them.

I do not know anyone who makes welded manifolds. I think I have the problem solved. I already have the manifold at home waiting on me.

Thanks
Rich
Rereading this, I made a custom manifold for a Fiero once. Just a simple "log type" header, which is all a manifold is. You could do the same and place you crossover outlet anywhere you liked, even pre-bend the outlet to give you clearance by the PS pump.

All you need is 16 or 14 gauge tube of maybe 2 different diameters, a good chop saw, a welder, and some patience. If the current manifold doesn't work out, give me a shout and I'll try and find the reference material I used to make mine.

Sent from atop the porcelain throne.

just updating the thread.
did not finish project, going to be making a change to a 6.5
It will work with custom elbow.

I may be transferring these manifolds to the 6.5 and continue to have the elbow made.
I also have some other plans and this may change.
Did not want to leave this thread without ending so what I have found out so far is:

The manifold fits, With the PSC remote reservoir pump and a banjo fitting, there is enough room to elbow the exhaust down behind the pump.

I do not know if it works with standard hydro pump that has the tank on it, I think it will be the same since the tank is on top.

The cross over pipe would run under or just in front of the harmonic balancer.
