6 to 10 hole adapter

I am looking for 4 each --- 6 lug to 10 lug adapters. Would anyone know where I could find them, or have them fabricated? I am wanting to replace 8.25x20 with Humvee wheels. I will need something substantial,

There's a lot of things to cover here. First I assume you're talking about using 10 lug wheels on a deuce? Are you wanting a HMMWV wheel? Because those are only 16.5" diameter rims. Now if you're talking about a 5 ton wheel, there's half a dozen wheels all having slightly different designs. Then to throw in the mix MRAP wheels which have a 10 lug pattern, but aren't the same as the 5 ton. There's adapter plates for those directly that require no modification to the MRAP wheel to bolt on a deuce. The other 5 ton wheels either need to have the centers cut out and new centers welded in. Or new centers that replace the bolts that hold the wheel together. And also have the center cut out to access the 6 lug pattern. What specifically are you looking to do?

I have a 1966 Ford F600 (Standard 2 ton) which has 825/20 rims and tires. I am wanting to put military tires on the vehicle and I am wondering if it would be safer to find someone who could make 4 adapters for me. I am 77 but still a novice at this wheel conversion thing.

Ok, so HMMWV wheels aren't what you're after. Do you have the rims on hand already or looking for an entire package? Like I said, there's several different models and different paths to take. So kinda trying to figure out what you have and the best way to go.

My apologies as this is only my second day on this site. As far as I am knowledgeable about the nomenclature of military vehicles I am not! My tour was 1963 to 1969 and I was a grunt, so I didn't ride much and sure as hell I was not bothered about the trucks only that we could ride... not walk.
Hence I will say, "I am refurbishing a 1966 Ford F600, it is a 2ton medium duty truck NON MILITARY with duals!" I want to go to a 10 hole rim because I will be more flexible in my choice of tires. I do not know if military rims are different than that on a big truck's 22.5? I would like the super single look, but in a military tire.....is that possible? The tire diameter needs be 39 or 40 inches . (I do not know the width of a super single, however my choice for the super single is that I am wanting to get away from the duals.) Perhaps you could advise me.. as I struggle with this side of my project?
Should I need to procure military tires and rims as a unit........... I am good with that.

The bolt pattern doesn't make the tire selection. The wheel size does. With only having a tire height of 39/40", that means you're pretty much stuck with only 9.00-20's like the deuces' used stock. Anything wider will likewise be taller. You're honestly probably better off talking to someone like long's wheel and tire in FL or someone that could make a custom set of wheels for you. You could also go with a 22.5 or something more commercial in nature to open up more options for tire sizes.

Custom made wheels are steel and legally only rated for off road or farm use, if this matters to you. One issue with military wheels is some tire places won't touch them, again if this matters to you. A tire place that mostly does commercial will probably touch them, something to keep in mind. If you have deep pockets you can get blank 22.5 or 24.5 aluminum wheels and have them drilled, this is a very expensive route. I do know of a place that sells used wheels, that might work for you, shipping might be a pain, but all in all it'll be cheaper than custom made steel or aluminum wheels.
Take a look at that link and see if you can find anything that works for you.

Super single tires vary a little in size, but a common size people use with a Deuce is 395/85r20 aka: 15.5/85r20. I'm afraid I don't know if the hub on the Ford F600 is the same size as that of the Deuce, so not sure if military wheels will work for you or not.

If you do go with custom aluminum wheels I would recommend this place, they might be able to help you with the drilling, they couldn't help me, but it can't hurt to ask.

I set my m35a3 wheels and 365 tires up to compare for super singles but liked the dual military tires much better. The A3 wheels will fit but to reverse them on the rear, the bolt holes need chamfered. I'll bet my truck tires (9.00/20) will be holding air after a year sitting. I would not take that bet with 2 piece rims like on my A3.

I would not change from duals. If anything, I would use the 365 on front and dual 11.00/20 on the rear. Note that the tires may rub on 11.00 but can add a spacer.
