Hi guys,

I am new here and I was hoping you can help me.
I am trying to figure out what military vehicles use the 6TL battery. I know it is used by the Deuce but what other models of cargo truck, SP mortars, Personnel Carriers, etc can use this battery?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, what he said. Everything from generators all the way up to the m1 tank.

For the military it is easier to have one battery that can go in any ground support application.

Thanks for the quick response guys!

But for example, vehicles like the Stryker M1126 will they still be using 6TL?...they must be using a bunch of batteries...4...6?

I know that, but you know how regulations go when it comes to import/ export of controlled military items. It can be very grey, or just plain stupid. The batteries that are in some of the 5 tons I've got here have stickers all over them stating they are controlled items and are not to be exported. That is all I can tell you. To the OP, the 939 series 5 tons use four batteries, and being as the MRAP has a much bigger electrical system, I would say it has four as well if not more.

I buy all my 6TL batteries from Interstate batteries, apparently they have a military contract because all the ones I buy are OD in color!

98% have 4 batteries. M88 and M1 have 8 batteries.
