What's the largest 3 phase motor an 802a can run? Also how big for an 803a?

There are too many variables to give a definitive answer, but here's a generic chart that might give you "ball-park" numbers. Definitely would check starting current, etc. on a specific motor before connecting it to my treasured genny.....

Yea I have no intent on putting my treasured 802 through some heavy starting loads from a 3 phase motor. I was just curious. Thanks for that chart.

The watts needed to get a 3 phase motor started can be lower than the same size single phase motor, depending on motor types. They don't need starting switches, special starting windings and other tricks to create a rotating field out of the inherently non-rotating single phase power.
