The push rod is there, I just removed it for the pick. But the puuer part of the push rod is worn considerably. I wonder if these are standard units or specific to this machine?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I'm not sure this is the total issue. I am not even sure as to whether this is a new problem or not. Only time will tell. That would certainly explain the problem. Glad you found it and with luck a couple of parts will make it right as rain.
If I were to bet on when.. I bet it was an error upon assembly. The scenario would be that the valves were tightened down and the unit started without giving the minimum wait time for the lifters to bleed down.I'm not sure this is the total issue. I am not even sure as to whether this is a new problem or not. Only time will tell.
I am optimistic that you will soon have this fixed. it was basically a three cyl engine and worse is it had a one cyl parasitic load.I'm not sure this is the total issue. I am not even sure as to whether this is a new problem or not. Only time will tell.
