806b 60 kw won’t stay running

Sorry all was told to split up my thread.
so I have a 60kw that will start then die.
I haven’t shot straight 24v to high pressure pump yet. I have seen on other threads where that worked, but why is it not gettin to begin with.
is the mpu not sending the correct signal?
what would I be looking for, for that to happen.

So I have figured out my issue.
I would start the gen and it would run for a second or so then die. It was loosing fuel. I made a jumper to the positive and negative side of the solenoid on the injector pump and boom it runs perfectly. But as I have read on other threads this causes the start switch to not allow the machine to shut down. You have to pull power from that solenoid. I am planning on finding a positive and negative on the control panel and running a jumper from there so the ignition switch controls that power.

Hot wiring is not figuring out the issue. You also have forgotten that the gen set is SUPPOSED to be able to shut off the engine when certain faults occur. Take for instance Low Oil Pressure. What happens when that fault pops up?

Losing fuel pressure? I don't think so. Losing 24 VDC to the Actuator, yes. Big difference. I think you need to spen a little tim reading the TM, to see how and why the gen set is supposed to function.

I have the cim completely removed and machine runs fine.
I have another machine that has the electric oil pressure sender completely removed and gen set runs fine. So from what I’ve seen and experienced there is not much that will actually shut the machine down. From what I’ve gathered these machines are mechanical diesels and will just run unless they are forced to shut down. Only way to do that is cut fuel or electric.
Am I missing something in the computer side of it? Again I have a machine wil most all sensors unplugged or not providing input and it runs fine.

If it overheats or loses oil pressure, it's failure is on you.
Will it really shut off in a loss of oil pressure situation?
I have one gen set where I removed the oil pressure sensor completely and slaved in a direct reading gauge.
machine still runs just fine and there is no sensor input to the computer for oil because it’s disconnected.
so am I missing something about these gen sets
that has to deal with the computer? Or does this whole computer controlled is not really computer controlled but just computer monitored.
remove the cim, machine still works, remove oil pressure sender machine still works .
