85 M1009 on door weatherstriping

I found in the TM's that my truck should have them and were on the doors. I took them off to paint the doors. The strips shown in LMC catalog only have them for 73 - 81 blazers. I called to ask if it was an error, they said no. I have been replacing all weather striping on the truck. So were you folks getting your's for the on door strip?

The cabs have are the same from 73-91 for the Blazer. (EDIT: Other then the early Blazers with the full removable top)
The Pickups have the same cabs doors as well from 73-87, so it will work.

It was LMC that started this problem, if go to your link and look at part #3 it says 73-81 not 91. I called to ask them and they said it would not fit.

To me it way it is mounted, your year model the strip is on the body, the other years it's glued to the door. Wayne

From TM 9-2320-289-34P, Figure 171, item #2 GM part number 14016511 and 14016512, it shows the "UOC" of "209". What the heck is " UOC 209"?

Have you ever wondered what the "UOC" number is or what it means? I have.

When you read the -20P or the -34P manuals, do you ever read the first few pages that tell you how to read the manaul? I have.

Let's look at page 4, paragraph 5(a) of TM 9-2320-289-34P

5. Special Information.​

in the Description column (justified left) on the first line

So this tells us that the item #2 door seal is only used on the M1009 Blazer. The door seal #3 is used on all trucks.​

I don't remember every seeing on on the Blazers but now I will have to look​

So if it has a UOC, it is used on some models. Look it up. No code means it is used on all models.​

I did a google search for the GM part numbers. They are showing they are for the 78-82 blazers and suburbans.

They should work.

What you say is true for item #3, but we are looking at item #2 and it has a UOC of 209 = M1009.

I printed out that very same page after trying to differentiate suspension part numbers for the M1028 versus the M1028A2/A3.
