Since the lots ended today its safe to ask about the truck that had a push button shifter. Anyone else see that? Where there some trucks retrofitted to a different allison than whats in the 915a1? It had 6 push buttons and maybe a couple switches above them.

Yup, that seems to be a USMC retrofit. If that Electronic Allison has no overdrive like the M915A1, you are looking at a 45 MPH truck.

Allison

The pushbutton Allisons are computer controlled. I would expect it to be a double overdrive.

I just spent $840 for a new pushbutton panel in my 5 ton. DO NOT LET THEM GET WET. They are not sealed. Kind of crazy for a .gov combat truck.

Justin didn't you say your ESP 5 ton had all the overdrive in the transfer case? The Allison M916's seem to bring a $3000 premium from my observations.

No

The M925 has a .732 OD in the t-case like all M939 trucks. The ESP has a 1:1 final in the t-case. 6th and 7th are OD in the trans. 5th is 1:1
