Heard in cab. Have not tried the tube method to narrow down where the sound is coming from though I probably should.

Seems most present at idle, and under load at RPM.

Above idle in Neutral it almost disappears.



Other vehicles I've had with that noise were an exhaust leak..

Have not road tested it for power yet.

30k miles on odo - surplused from FD who said it wasn't reliable enough.

Buy yourself a 12v Cummins barring tool, Pull the valve cover on the engine cold, and run the valve lash. Chances are it’s terribly out of adjustment and never been done
