925 A2 winch doesnt work

Winch on 925 A2 doesn't work. PTO engages. winch free spools. Winch does not wind or unwind. Please help.

Start under the truck, at the selector valve. Are you certain the PTO is engaged? Hydraulic pump turning? Be very careful under the truck. Disconnect the selector cable from the valve, lube, clean, adjust if needed.
Work selector valve manually. Have somebody with you for security.

This was the problem on mine.
Winch worked great at first, then nothing.

Found the thread that said to check this.

Sure enough. That was the issue.
Cleaned it up and a little lube and it works like a champ again.

Make real sure the clutch is engaged on the winch, mine was like this until I really pulled it down.
