I'm digging everything except the silver studs and wheel nuts. Excellent project. Does the cab still have A/C? Gas or diesel?

Its 6.5 na diesel. No ac , 996 2 litter only came with heaters, 997 4 litter had ac and heat.

Didn't all the H1s come with A/C? Maybe I misunderstood. Did this start life as an H1 or HMMWV?

Sorry I misunderstood about the ac I thought you were asking about body ac units. Yes mine had factory ac. It was in very bad shape so I removed it
