I happened to notice recently on my M880 that the parking lamps are not on when the headlights are on. There's nothing wrong with them. They flash when I use the turn signals and they seem to be on when I have the light switch puled out to just the parking lamp setting, but I thought that they were supposed to remain on with the headlights. Starting with the 1969 model year all car makers were mandated by the govt to have the parking lamps stay on when the headlights were also on as a safety feature. Unless that didn't apply to trucks, shouldn't mine be lit too? It is, after all, a 1977 model.
I'm leery of digging into the wiring as things are working OK now, but I thought I would ask the question. The fellow I bought the truck from hinted that M880s were known to have electrical gremlins from time to time and he seems to be right as I've experienced the fluctuating gas gauge and temperature gauge on occasion.
