He won't get a straight answer because there isn't a straight solution. Depends on the state your carrier which person you call. I called progressive to try to insure mine and they said they absolutely cannot do it, then I happen to mention USAA and then the situation apparently changed, they said if you're a USAA member they have a special group that handles USAA policies under progressive and they could do it.
FYI mine is a 2007 MTV (the 6x6 version)

Thanks for the quick reply.
I already checked with Nationwide & Progressive, which I guess go through Hagerty for demil. I was told it had to be 20 years or older, and could not take it offroad. I'd hate to have the winning bid tomorrow only to find out I can't insure it.
Is it a matter of how I word it to the agent?
Do I need to register it at the DMV a specific way? I assume "RV" but this is my first experience with a demilitarized vehicle.
It will be used as a camper, include "offroad use"

I wouldn't worry about it. Never heard of anyone that has had to sell their truck due to inability to find insurance. Bid away. Figure it out later.
