A3 air cleaner to whistler turbo

Need some ideas/advice on connecting my new A3 air cleaner to my whistler turbo. Turbo input is 2.75" and line from the aircleaner is 4". I've got all the A3 connections just need to reduce it down. I've found 3" to 4" rubber elbows, but no 2.75 to 4 inch. I've thought about sliding a 2.75" piece over the turbo then a 3 to 4" elbow on top of that, if it's a tight fit.

Ideas?

I bought my reducer from "Silicone Hose Specialist." Almost any supplier of Silicone hoses will have these reducers in stock. I converted my air-cleaner over 5 years ago to the A3 model. Works great. Saved all that space in the engine compartment

Well got all my parts and it will require some adapting and re-routing. In the pics I put the existing reducer from the A2 air cleaner directly on the turbo just to
get a feel for what is needed

Rusty - Any chance of see a pic of how your's is put together? Looks like rotating the 5" e;bow coming off the cleaner to clear the turbo to manifold connection changes a few things. I will need an elbow to go from 5" to 3", then a short piece of 3" tubing, then a 2.75 to 3" elbow. Also will have to trim the cleaner to allow the hood to close.

Is there a concern of a straight piece of silicone hose collappsing if I go that route inteead of a short 3" pipe?

This is also why I made the switch. My engine bay is awfully crowded. I had the work professionally done, and they welded a reducer at one point.

You can see pics of the finished product here. That butterfly valve didn't survive my engine swap sadly. You can see those pics here, and how there just wasn't enough horizontal run for the butterfly.
