Can anyone confirm the A3 aluminum tank is either direct fit or minor mod for an A2?

If anyone is having a hard time with their fuel tank, a welding shop can whip one out of 11 gauge steel for a couple hundred bucks if you don't mind drilling the holes for the fuel pump to save labor costs. you could also install a access cover right over the center baffle and clean both sides too.
