Awesome recovery! That's a great piece of history, worthy of a resto. Looks in great shape too, except for the clutch, perhaps!

Great find James! I can't get over how original it is. I can still see numbers under the thin blue paint on the hood. It still has the correct wheels and tires too. What a deal!

I don't think the number on the hood is from military service, there is civil defense white under the blue, the number looks like PH00171.
