Additional cut wires from demil, any ideas

Guys,

One week old humvee owner (1999 M1123).. LOL

Been looking through the TMs to see if I can figure out what these cut wires are on the outside of the battery box, coming off the positive side.. Looks like one label is 6B, can't seem to find that one and the other is just too hard to read. Then there's looks like two red wires cut on the other side. Any ideas or point me in the right direction? Not liking cut wires hangin around the battery box..

6B runs from the battery box to : STE/ICE DCA ASSY pin E
If the other wire is 6C, it goes to: STE/ICE DCA ASSY pin V

What would be the reason for them to cut those?

A lot of folks do it because they hate the useless STE/ICE

could be an over enthusiastic person at gp when demilling and cutting radio wires thought more is better

So, basically I can just pull off the cut connectors from the positive terminal and then tape up/terminate the loose wires?

You can do what ever you want. I would find out were every cut wire went, to see if its just not needed, or not.

My 1988 M998 is cut in exactly the same way. Found it last fall when I was crawling under. Not obvious in my case, but my unit was a radio shelter unit at some point in it's life -- so I suspect the demil just whacked it along with other radio related wires.
