I used the base out of a cougar mrap. I had to modify them a little but they work well and the height is now adjustable too.

Just wanted to thank you for posting about the Chrysler Pacifica seats. So would you suggest going with the 2016 rather than the 2017 seats? Here's the style he has right now, not sure which it is though:

Additionally, What did you use to insulate your humvee floor? Really would like to put something in for heat and sound but not sure what works best / easiest.

I like the look of the 2017 seats better but the 2016 seats require less fabrication to install and have a built-in slider so it just depends on what you’re looking for. The 2017 seats are a little easier to find online. With the legroom in the Humvee I don’t think I will ever use a slider anyways :) I haven’t done any insulation on the floor yet but I plan on using dynamat.

Yeah, me too. I guess you shined up your factory insulation, looks new. I updated links to my post before, it looks like he has a different style than in your pictures that come with sliders, so must be the 2016's. Yours are the front seats or the easy folder middle seats?

Also the 2017. Was pretty easy if you weld cross bars and bolt onto some of the bolts under the seat. Love them.

As for insulation. Cheapest stuff and layer it and the orginal pad.

I have the company that still makes the pad in rolls if you want to do your tunnel or trunk of slant or hard top. Can post if people want and can post pics of how i welded brackets.

More pics coming. Its a family affair. Wifes father, my son and me. And my son says the 5 ton is his school truck. He is now 13 but drove it and humvee at age 11. So one more year till legal.

Glad there is a good thread to home this. I think I posted this somewhere else. Since I wrote this, I powder-coated, mounted the second seat. This was a tough build, a few mistakes along the way but overall, after a couple of months, I like the seats and the upside of having a beefy rollbar. Since this doc, I replaced the springs. The ones I bought were too stiff and jarred my neck (c5-6 fused). Only thing is, these don't have front-back adjustments. Overall, if there were do-overs, I would wait and spend the $$s on seats that fit without modification.

The ones from a pacificia people are buying on this thread. Guy oit of arizona who builds handicap vans. He also sells them on ebay. Perfect for me and leather and brand new
