Air pack question

I'm collecting parts to split my brake system.

I have a long air pack currently. For my 2nd can I add a short or must I stay with a long?

I think you can use short and long air packs together. I believe the SMARPI document specifies such a setup assuming an existing long air pack is going to stay. The PDF should be in the deuce TM board.
