I helped install one of the receiver mounts on a friends HMMWV and like the idea but it seems like the backing plate should have been another 1/4" taller. When the pintle rotates it hits the receiver tube and eventually it'll wear the paint off of it and things will begin to rust. I don't know who he got the hitch from so this may not happen on units from different vendors.
