I am in the process of doing an alternator conversion on my truck using a NOS adapter harness I got from Midwest. These were originally made for converting M35 gassers to multi fuel engines with an alternator, it looks pretty straight forward and I think I have it pretty well figured out. But I was wondering if anyone else here had done this conversion with said harness, if so I would like to see a few pics if possible of how you routed all your cables to try and get some ideas, thanks in advance if you can help me out.

If your M37 had/has an ammeter, there could possibly be an issue with using that harness, 2 of the 4 pins in the chassis harness go to the ammeter, if the conversion harness does not have all 4 pins tied together, something may not work right. This info is from a VERY dusty cobweb part of my memory, so please excuse if I am wrong.

Believe you will have to change the amp meter to the newer battery condition, charging gauge, this is what was done on the 6602s that were changed to a alt.
