Alternator question

If we can use the AutoZone DL7157 alt on the DS why not use the alt for a civy K30 truck on the DS? They are both uninsulated. I've never heard it mentioned and was wondering if it will work.

Clearly looking at the picture from Autozone you can see it is not the same alternator casing, there is only one bolt bracket on the bottom. The CUCV alternator has two, one on each side. This is going by that is the correct pictured alternator.
