Is the subject matter, a nice to have -or- must have?

Has anyone added the above to older models (say M1025 A0)? If so, how much effort did it take and does it perform well.

I see that some ports must be +/- 1/2 inch and others look like 3/8 inch.

If the above does not fit well on a 1025, any suggestions to maintain a clean power steering fluid?

I installed a turbo GEP from an ECV, it had the higher pressure steering pump and reservoir into a M998, I did not notice any difference in steering.
So IMHO it would not be worth the time and money, they are not supposed to be as easy to steer as a ford focus

I had two M1123s. One had the remote and the other was standard.
No noticeable difference in steering power or function.
Harder to bleed, but a lot easier to get to the remote reservoir for seeing the level and topping off.

I actually have a CUMMINS 5.9L 6BT in my 1025. So you did install the reservoir for cleaning the power system system.
The higher pressure pump and the remote reservoir came on the engine, so basically it was already installed
I had to make all custom hoses anyway because that truck has a 12K hydraulic winch up front
