Driving down the road on an outing in the wrecker...spotted a military 'thing' in a field...pulled up to take a look..heard a 'call' (plea?) Pleeeeze! rescue mee...Imediate empathy..drove into the farm..talked to a farmer...Looked at a deuce in a sorry state...does it run? Av'nt a clue, bin' there 5 years .."wanna sell it"? "Well" Giz two grand?..YEP!..(truck sighs( But ONLY IF ya start and you get to our base!))..Will Will Will...just give me a try..Batteries on..Fired up first prod of 'The button'
I drove home, (Odd? I have "Lump" in my throat" the deuce following (with my former passenger) in tandem he is one of our group military enthusiast owner drivers ..(And) Can't believe our fortune..The deuce is a REAL 'screamin' Whistler' (And 'it' behaved as promised) And now resides in the shop awaiting 'Tarting up'.. It (the forlorn) deuce..HAS found a good home. Seriously..our barn is MORE than full..And..we (now have) projects galore!...(I wuz..cuttin down!!!) After this n' this' n this'...n...

Ah, finding OD for give-away-prices. If I could find a few of them, my shop would be as full as yours!

That deuce looks very good. I'm impressed! If I had a barn that big I would lose control. I would really like an FV 432. I am very jealous.

If I am counting right, you NOW have MORE vehicles then BEFORE you cut down your number of vehicles .

It's actually quite simple math. There's the equation >>

A few more trucks plus one large building to hide them in equals, "Honey, I swear, I've gotten rid of a few trucks."

dmetalmiki - That's a good looking Deuce! Thank you for saving it!

"Found" The (reason for?) the..'empathy'..Turns out after some cleaning and checking the numbers...(That Years ago)...we OWNED it! Seriously it actually is well OK..everything works..brakes too, That turbo is the Loudest screamer ever!. Nice. the radiator also was a giveaway..repaired with the 'green stuff' (not paint!) "Interzone 101 parts a+b"..indestructible, fixes anything even under water (Sea). Some serious servicing painting and addition of a few parts WILL see it back in the fold in pride o' place. Will post progress and pictures..((('going for another drive next weekend!)))
