Got started on my M200 converter dolly build today. I plan on using it with my M146 shop trailer.
No real reason except I always wanted one for it. I think it would be cool as a wagon style trailer.

Im going to cut 7 inches off of the ramps to make them even with the rear of the dolly and I can use the open box steel to move it around with the forklift later. Im also adding a pintle to the new rear crossmember. Why not???

Interesting side note:

The steel being used in this build was salvaged from the old Genera Motors assembly plant in Doraville Ga.

Doraville Assembly was a General Motors automobile factory in Doraville, Georgia, just northeast of Atlanta. The plant opened in 1947 and was under the management of GM's newly created Buick-Oldsmobile-Pontiac Assembly Division created in 1945. It was closed on 26 September 2008 as part of the company's cost-cutting measures

It came out great. I think this is one of the best uses for an M200. They are cool trailers without much use otherwise. Would also make a beefy shelter toter.

Got any more pics of it behind the hmmwv?? Thought about making an over land trailer out of it but those tires look waaay bigger when it's behind your the hmmwv. Guess I could put smaller tires on it?
