I have no clue where to post this so sorry.

I'm looking for a hummer style whip mount with whip. I don't need authentic but similar would be nice. I can make the bracket but I would like to have a similar antenna. What's the army use or what did they use on the Cucv and where can I get one?

I would consider the AB-15 Antenna base with the MS-116, 117, 118 antenna whips they work good with a CB !! Also make sure you get the ground strap and rubber insulator gasket . Once you have it togeterthe overall length should be between 106 to 110 inches total length from base to tip.

Do a search on AB15 (note: inexplicably, searching for AB-15 fails, no results). Lots of threads about antennas and the AB-15 specifically.

While on the subject im looking for a base and antenna for my m1009. Ive got the bracket just need the matching base and so forth. Ultimately im wanting to us a modern cb with setup. Can you make a suggestion. The AB-15 doesnt appear to be the correct base for the bracket. However there are several different part nunbers for the correct looking ones so im a lil confused. Thanks for the help.
