Anyone picking up in Chambersburg PA headed east towards NH

I have a XM1061E1 T/A Flatbed Trailer that I won from GP. I was wondering if anyone here was picking up there and had room on a trailer or behind a truck that may be headed anywhere near NH.

If I don't have any luck, I'll probably grab it with my pick-up truck next week.

Thanks,
Chris

They are heavy and have almost no tongue weight.

Stretch picked up one from me in 2009 with his pickup, bought in VA and towed all the way back to OH. He said the trip was...interesting...

I have a 14.00 r20 in the bed of my pickup. If I have to I could ratchet strap that to the front of the tongue for some weight.

Brakes ? trailer has airbrakes and 24v lights. Towing one with a pick up on winter roads will be a character building. expierence.

Everyone should buy stock in underwear now before someone tries it.

That's why I'd rather pay someone with a larger rig that may be headed this way to haul it. I've towed worse with less, just go slow.

Anyone close to the site that would be able to pick up store at their place until things get a little warmer? If I could plan a little road trip, I may take one of my MV's down.

I towed one with a deuce and with the brake working. It was an ok trip. I have moved my trailer around the house with a blazer. (slow speeds just to move it out of the way) and it was quite a bit to handle... I don't think I would want to go anywhere near highway speeds with it.

Well I Have an 0800 appointment to pick up on Monday morning. I'm bringing a an f-350 diesel dually to haul the trailer. I'm going to stop down at Apple Excavating on my way home to pick up a couple things.

F-350 should be no problem moving it. Stopping may be problematic and I'd be the first to tell you I have done some stupid towing (Deuce and 105 with my Dodge 1500) but I sure wouldn't try the interstate.
