Anyone put on a steering stabilizer / shock? on their LMTV?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I guess that would be no...Anyone put on a steering stabilizer / shock? on their LMTV?
Not a bad idea. Would think it would take a double shock.... only in that not sure they make them that big. Maybe check to see if they make after market bolt ons for big rigs Kodiaks etc.I guess that would be no...
Think I will make one custom. Wonder if the shocks are significantly different from a standard axle shock. Not a bad idea. Would think it would take a double shock.... only in that not sure they make them that big. Maybe check to see if they make after market bolt ons for big rigs Kodiaks etc.
Here is a neat idea.... stabilizer with return to center built inThink I will make one custom. Wonder if the shocks are significantly different from a standard axle shock.

What goal are you after? I'm not trying to keep you from trying it, but if you think yours needs it, there may be something wrong with your steering. I know mine is 100% not in need of a steering stabilizer, even when offroad.Anyone put on a steering stabilizer / shock? on their LMTV?
Massively agree. Check slop in components etc. first. What goal are you after? I'm not trying to keep you from trying it, but if you think yours needs it, there may be something wrong with your steering. I know mine is 100% not in need of a steering stabilizer, even when offroad.
