I hope this is the right part of the forum for this,We recovered the m548 this morning.We couldnt of had worse weather.Scott couldnt of been a nicer guy,we destroyed his yard.I am glad he had the 816,we couldnt of done it with out it.Heres some pics,Now for the 400 mile ride home.548 119.jpg548 122.jpg548 121.jpg548 120.jpg

I'm jealous.

Looks like it is missing the front winch. I think that is a 20K or is it a 40K winch that were on those. Once you find one of those, winch and cable will probably weigh a ton. Anyone have an idea how much that winch and cable would weigh?

IIRC, I think the front winch on that unit is a similar model to one of the ones used on the 5-ton wrecker. I might be wrong, but I heard somewhere that the units are very close in design.
