Does anyone have info on install on one of these kits on FMTV. Seem to have seen them listed for FMTV Hemmit

Am sorta duplicating this in a some respect with older parts. (using NOS coolant heater by Southwind / Stewart Warner for example). Plan to plumb it different though since will also use for interior radiant or Heater core and fan to heat Ambo Box going on back. Have not decided if want to try to warm engine sump with exhaust as some applications do.. or maybe go with a completely different mount location so can use exhaust to pre warm Air cooled diesel Genny.

Don't expect to ever be Arctic camping but habitat interior heating with a diesel coolant heater has worked well for some so that is my main interest.

Maybe you could route the exhaust to under the bed and have it come out the back of the lmtv. You would need to weld under the bed shut to make it airtight but our articulating trucks are made this way so the exhaust heat flows under bed to keep it warm so frozen loads of water and dirt do not stick to bed.

Got Control Box on order.. apparently the control box for a South Wind space heater is basically same when it comes to control box. Now looking for the harness....... Appears best harness is from a 2 1/2 ton, or Gamma Goat and few other Military tracked applications for my setup. Also apparently some small private AIRPLANES used the same harness. Looks like Southwind for a good while also sold this heater to that market. The CCUV used it too but used a combined control box for space and coolant heating so that harness is potentially different. So it looks like I gotta check manuals and find harness NSN and Part #.

Been told Fuel pump must be also plugged into this harness. Apparently this is cause its gets it's power managed by internal circuitry inside the heater's electrical circuit according to input from thermocouples?)
