Are all 465's Multi fuel

I am new here. been lurking a couple years. Finally bought a 68 with a 465 NON turbo.
The tag on the dash says DIESEL ONLY.
Is this true ? I thought all 465s are Multi Fuel?

Was the fdc bypassed ? If so that's probably why it was put on the dash.

If its been bypassed I can not burn oils and only diesel. I don't see why anyone would do that.

That is what I was looking for. I can run oils. I had no intention of putting gasoline in it.

You can still run anything you want if the FDC is bypassesd. Gasoline is not good for your motor even if its in the loop.

The ONLY thing the FDC does is restrict the flow of fuel if your running diesel/jp8.

Right, these engines are multifuel and will run fine on anything whether they have an FDC or not.

Most (old type) deisel engines will run on a fair mix of fuel. At the correct ratio.
