Show up at the American Legion around 8:30am to meet up with veteran group just off freeway Or call 253-961-3434 to arrange a place to meet along the way there to convoy. Massive parade with thousands of people

Sounds like fun. We went to the Ft. Lewis Armed Forces Day event. Almost no classic mil vehicles. I think the total was 6, including 2 Kubelwagons with reenactors. We had about 250 kids on our vehicle, there. We did have fun, though.

Yes. The Joint Base Lewis McChord newspaper had us on the front cover. http://www.nwguardian.com/
We had the only thing there that remotely looked like a tank, including active Army stuff. The kids had fun.
