ASK insulation

Is it Completely asbestos and has anyone put new insulation in one ask mine is separating and falling on generator. Mainly the top peice is coming off.

No, its not asbestos. I might try the sound controlling foam stuff from the MEP-803A. I am sure there are other products available.

The insulation on my 003A ask is just plain ole fiberglass attic insulation

105 top will not fit a 105 generator trailer because the generator trailer is one foot longer than a cargo trailer (123 inches from front to back). That is why I built the bunk trailer on a 105 generator bed vs using a 105 cargo trailer. YMMV.

I see that the insulation is starting to fall. I used hardware cloth (1/2x1/2) sq, cut pieces to tuck under the sides, tie-wired to the original “keepers “.
Looks like it belongs there to hold the insulation in place.
