Assuming your the same guy who uses that username on Arfcom, there is a real nice M35A2 on Craiglist in Winston for $3000. A bit higher than GL, but already titled in NC, you can test drive it and know it runs, and no GL headaches. In my book it is likely worth the extra $$$, especially on your first truck, to buy a known item already in private hands.

That truck you linked too looked like it had some issues, and as mentioned the missing front shackles can often mean it was towed in.

That would be me.... same screen name all over the interwebs! Arfcom has ruined me. Now I want a duece and I have no real reason for it other than I think they are cool.

I spoke to a friend who used to own one, and he said not to get one without an air shift front axle. Something about breaking sprags.

I am Garand_Shooter over there, and I am not far from you so if you need any help with anything.

Sprags can be a pain in the ass for a number of reasons, I much prefer the air shift.

Something about breaking sprags.
Sprags require periodic maintenance/adjustment that they tend to not get. The air shifts are virtually trouble free (do a search for air shift problems and you will find almost nothing). Air shifts also allow you to do front hub lockouts.

If you buy a sprag truck, you can swap the transfer out. BFR and I did it to his truck, he posted a good thread about the swap. The swap is pretty much just the case and a few air lines, switch and wiring for the engagement light under the dash.
