FMJ, I have the hole in my bumper also, except mine is on the left side. Is it a 67 by chance? Mine is and I run the winch chain through it first ,then through the shackles. In 67 Kaiser did a lot of experimenting.

According to GL they are all 1970 models, Medlog looked up 6634 for me and confirmed it was a 1970. fwiw
