Hi all!
If you are in New Mexico and have Veterans Day (11-11-11) off you should warm up your rig and come to the Paloma Landing Seniors Center in Albuquerque on Veterans Day. The community has a number of WWII and Korea Veterans as residents that have organized a Veterans Day meet-and-greet / celebration of service.
Participants are asked to arrive at the Paloma Landing Seniors Center between 1230-1330. Vehicles will be exhibited and judged from 1400pm until 1530, depending upon participant level.
The show will be judged by senior veterans, residents and staff.
Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. After the show participants can leave if they so choose or stay to converse and visit with the vets/residents.
This is a great time for all of us to get together for a meet-n-greet and listen to the stories from the remaining members of the Greatest Generation and the Silent Generation.
