Check them about monthly. If they're below about 12.5 V, put a low charge on them. The lowest my charger goes is 2 amps, if your doing it individually (you don't have to disconnect them, to do this). I don't remember what my 24V charger's lowest setting is, but its about the same. Keep the water up too. Here in extreme cold, you can't add water in the winter - it will freeze on top & won't mix. Don't over charge. I buy good ones - you get what you pay for. On MV stuff, I cut the threads off a 3/8 bolt, put it in the + slave Outlet to hook the charger lead to, and charge & check them with the meter, that way.
