Looking for just the base skid for a MEP-802. Going to build an AUX fuel skid with an old military 100 gal tank. Also posted in “Parts Wanted”.

If you don't get a hit with you ad for a MEP-802 skid you might also consider broadening your search and include the MEP-003a or -002a aluminum skids as well.

A -002a skid might match up better length wise and be more compact than the -003a skid. I'm sure there have been -003a/-002a's parted out with their skids looking for a new home.

What are dimensions of your tank?

Look for the 400hz skids too. Those are more likely to have been parted out.

Figures... I had an 802 base and an 002 base and just scrapped both of them a few weeks ago and barely got anything for them!
Scrapped a total of 1300 lbs. of heavy aluminum and barely got $140 :-(

I measured the skid of my 802/5K and the tank fits perfectly inside it’s footprint. This also gives me the option to bolt it in the back generator location on my PU trailer.

There is a set of 802-803a mounting rails on the big auction site.
