The things ive had to do for my country !!! But worth it everytime.

I tossed together a thing....

Bolted down a 24" x 24" Harding as battery box for the trailer.

Two Walmart deep cycle batteries
Two battery holder bases with straps
Solar controller
Battery disconnect
Power monitor
120v charger
Inverter
120v in and out connections
Cooling fan
50 amp circuit breaker for crane

Can't see from the pictures, but you mentioned a cooling fan. Is the fan through the exterior of the case to let fresh air in.
And does the fan run constantly whenever the batteries are being charged, or only when at a certain temp?

I'm asking because batteries, even sealed deep cycle batteries, can produce hydrogen gas when charging. If placed inside of a sealed container (or one with extremely poor air movement) it can cause an explosion hazard.
