I put in 2 new batteries and attached the original cables back and drove it for about 20 miles yesterday. today I started disconnecting the batteries to do the doghead mod and the rear battery, positive terminal was a bear to get off. I finally got it off and this is what I found.

The other 3 posts were fine.

Everything on the truck is 100% stock. Any thoughts as to what might have caused this? Thanks!

Looks like maybe it was a little loose and was vibrating while driving. The vibrations cause small sparks that in turn weld your connector to your battery post. I would clean up or get a new connector, clean up the battery post, put everything back together and not worry.
