I have the installation instructions for the AM General 57K6230 Battery Disconnect Accessory Kit but the file is too large to post as attached file.
The kit comes with a marine inline fuse (Blue Sea Systems Inline ATO/ATC Fuse Holder + 15amp bladed fuse) for the 12v 4L80E wire. Besides the Kissling 35-553 ($85-100), the ATO/ATC Inline 15amp fuse and the 4 printed instruction decals/plates, the rest of the kit is cabling and terminal eyes. you can probably piece it together for half the price of the complete 57K6230 kit.
The Ranger Regiment B Company Land Rover Defender RSOV Ranger Special Operations Vehicles used a Cole-Hersee M-750 dual battery cutoff switch that allowed you to shut off both batteries then turn on just one battery for 12v accessories or both batteries for the full 24v system: Cole-Hersee makes a version with an integral keyed lock
