Well I finally found the culprit and it was just what I thought it was.....a fuseable link! I couldn't see it unless I took the air cleaner off and pulled all the wires from behind the master cylinder. It was the one at the end of the Gen 2 power wire and it burnt when it grounded itself against the alternator bracket. Now I can enjoy and look forward to driving my truck It's kinda embarrasing having to get jumps from people all the time!
