Battery Life?

Just a quick question.

What kind of battery life are people getting out of their trucks?

That depends on what kind of batteries they have installed. Mine came with red-top optimas, so that's going to be a totally different story than some 6TL's.

i had to brand new batteries, about a year old, and one had developed 3 dead cells. So it varies. My tractor battery is going seven years and so far no indication of a near term problem.

I recently had to replace both of mine they when out with in 2 days of each other..

I have 4+ years on a pair of used Group 31 batteries that cost me $60.

You cant go wrong with Hawkers for long life.. They are not cheap though...

2 - 31 series Energizers in both the deuce and the cucv...right at 2 years and still going strong. Can't keep them Bunnies down!
